Mae Williams is the owner/operator of Men’s Cuts. Mae has an extremely varied background from graphic designer to interior design to customer service, which all attribute to her developing Men’s Cuts in December 2013. Mae, a first generation Chinese American, grew up in the Boston area, but is very proud to make the Cleveland area her home. After graduating from Boston College with a Fine Arts Degree, Mae worked as a graphic designer and was starting to work on a Master’s degree in product design at The Mass College of Art when she decided to go to cosmetology school. She received her cosmetology license in 1989 and apprenticed at salons on Newbury Street and Kenmore Square and later worked in a hair salon in downtown Boston.
Mae moved to the Cleveland area over 20 years ago honing her design and customer service skills while working at The Cleveland Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon Journal. At the same time, she designed her own set of Feng Shui cards and appeared on stage for the Every Woman Show and on radio shows. Mae is a member in the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she works out, loves dining out with her husband and friends, shopping with her daughters and travel.
